5 Creative Ways To Use Your Affiliate Code and Make More $$ in 2024

5 Creative Ways To Use Your Affiliate Code and Make More $$ in 2024

Did you know that you can earn money by referring people to Avocademy? Whether you're a student, a graduate, or have no plans to ever sign up yourself, you are eligible to sign up for an affiliate account and start earning $500 for each referral.

Once you've signed up, you'll create your affiliate account and a personal code that you can start sharing immediately. With this code, you can offer potential students $500 off their tuition, earning yourself the same amount!

In addition to earning $500 per referral, we've sweetened the pot and added some sweet rewards for hitting referral milestones.

Tier 1: Win an Avo-Swag Bag when 1 new student signs up with your personal code.

Tier 2: Win a part of AirPods when 5 new students sign up with your personal code.

Tier 3: Win an iPad when 10 new students sign up with your personal code.

Tier 4: Win a MacBook Pro when 50 students sign up with your personal code.

You can share your affiliate code as often as you want on social media, youtube, blog posts, or directly with friends, family, or colleagues. Keep track of your referrals and earnings through your account, and watch for payouts on the 15th of each month, via PayPal.

Top affiliates are making several thousand dollars a month with the average monthly payout for active affiliates being over $1000 as of February 2024.

Your success is our success, so we’ve put together 5 easy and creative ways to use your affiliate code, help students transition to a new career, and stockpile a nice rainy day fund.

1. Share your code and a link in your social media bio

Whether you have a personal account or a professional one, you can use free tools to share multiple links in your bio. Once this is setup, you can direct your followers to the “link in bio” where they’ll find your code and a link to Avocademy’s website.

Linktree has a variety of free templates and customizable options to choose from and takes less than a minute to set up! Linktree has options for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Linkedin. While they do have paid premium options, they aren’t necessary.

Milkshake is a free website builder where you can build a free website from your phone in minutes! One of our amazing grads and affiliates uses Milkshake to successfully direct referrals to Avocademy, where they both reap the rewards of our program.

2. Add your code to your social media posts

Social media allows us to reach more people than ever before, making it a perfect place to share your affiliate code, potentially reaching thousands of people, if not more.

Our grads love to share the projects they’ve worked on, using the knowledge and experience they’ve gained through Avocademy, on Linkedin. This is a great opportunity to plug your affiliate code and share that Avocadamy helped you get where you are today.

Most of our students share their course completion certificates on Linkedin as well. If you have a certificate to share, this is a perfect time to grab your code, the link to our website and add that information to your post. People love to celebrate these wins with you, which leads to more folks finding your post - you never know who might end up seeing it and decide to head down the same path you did!

Because we want to make this as easy as possible for you, we’ve created a collection of posts you can share on various social media platforms like the one below. You can download the whole collection here.

You can follow this advice anywhere you’re active on social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, or . Don’t forget to refer back to the first idea in this article and share your linktree or milkshake links in your profiles on every platform you’re on!

3. Include a code and link on your website

Whether you’re a graduate who has spent several months building a professional portfolio website, or someone who has a website or business for something else, this is a great place to share your affiliate code.

Create a designated section or blog post detailing your journey and benefits of the Avocademy bootcamp, giving visitors a reason to click on the link and take advantage of the discount your affiliate code gives them.

Ibrahim Lela shares a thorough blog post review of Avocademy on his website, including his personal experience as a student and several mentions of his code and how much potential students can save by using it. He included visuals of his project and the in depth mentorship he received and how that impacted his learning experience and final product. A detailed review of your own experience can make a huge difference for folks who are weighing their bootcamp options.

5. Make a video review on YouTube or TikTok

If talking about your experience sounds easier than writing it out, maybe creating a YouTube video is the way to go. YouTube reviews can be incredibly successful in helping others decide if they want to take the leap and sign up for something like a bootcamp. People are more likely to trust you when they can hear and see you speaking about your experience. You can be as personable and create as you want, and share as often as you want. Some share one video at the end of their experience, while others share weekly updates, adding the link and their code each time.

Zoey the Creator has several videos about Avocademy on her YouTube channel and TikTok account where she’s shared her journey from the start. On YouTube, you’ll find her link in the video description. On TikTok, you’ll find a milkshake link in her bio. You might have noticed above, she shares her milkshake website on other platforms too - that first tip is an important one because it can be shared almost anywhere and get lots of visibility!

If you’re already using YouTube or TikTok regularly, adding your affiliate code to your videos or bio is a no-brainer and a great way to bring in some extra cash each month - while helping others save on a new career venture.
